Bowling Event Raises Over $16,000 for Disability Services
Canandaigua, NY (October 30, 2017) Ability Partners Foundation hosted its 9th Annual Bowling to Raise Bucks fundraising tournament at Roseland Bowl in Canandaigua. Over 188 bowlers on 46 teams, multiple sponsors, and others helped raise over $16,000! All proceeds from the Bowling to Raise Bucks fundraising event benefit Ability Partners Foundation in support of the programs and services offered through CP Rochester, Happiness House, and Rochester Rehabilitation.
The top fundraising team for the 6 p.m. session was awarded to Buggy’s Bowling Crew and the top individual fundraiser for this session was Emily Graham. For the 8:30 p.m. session, the top fundraising team was MJ’s King Pins, and the top individual fundraiser for this session was Craig Cummings. Staff awards include: Incredibowlers for Creative Team Dress, A-Plus, for Team Spirit snd Gutterfingers for Most Creative Team Name. The top employee team was Incredibowlers, who raised $402.25.

CP Rochester was established in 1946 and provides clinical, residential, educational, and personal support services to individuals with and without disabilities in the greater Monroe County region.
Happiness House, an educational, residential, health and human service organization, has been serving communities in the Finger Lakes region since 1969.
Rochester Rehabilitation, has served the Rochester area community since 1919 with an array of physical, mental health, and employment services.
