Charity Bowling Event Raises $20,000 for People with Disabilities, Not-for-profit partners host 7th
Rochester, NY (November 16, 2015) Happiness House and CP Rochester held the 7th Annual Bowling to Raise Bucks fundraising tournament at Roseland Bowl in Canandaigua on November 6. Over 215 bowlers on sixty teams, several sponsors, and friends helped raise approximately $20,000. All proceeds from the Bowling to Raise Bucks fundraising event were applied to Ability Partners Foundation in support of Happiness House and CP Rochester to benefit the adults and children with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities who receive services from the agencies.
The top fundraising team for the 6 p.m. session was awarded to I Can’t Believe it’s Not Gutter! (Team Captain: Jill Walter). For the 8:30 p.m. session, the top fundraising team was the MJB Bombers (Team Captain: Nanci Bentley). The top individual fundraiser for 6 p.m. was Valerie Schultz with $260 and Nanci Bentley with $705 at the 8:30 p.m. session. The 50/50 winners included Austin Coppola who received $139 and Dave Carro who received $265. Both winners contributed a portion of their winnings back to the agencies.

About Happiness House and CP Rochester
Happiness House is an educational, residential, health and human service agency that has been serving communities in the Finger Lakes region in Upstate New York since 1969. Today, with sites in Geneva, Gorham, Canandaigua, South Seneca and Waterloo, Happiness House offers an array of programs and services for children and adults with and without disabilities who reside in Ontario, Seneca, Wayne, and Yates counties. CP Rochester, a partner member of the Al Sigl Community of Agencies, was established in 1946 and provides clinical, residential, educational, and personal support services to individuals with and without disabilities in the greater Monroe County region. On average, both agencies serve a total of 3,150 individuals and their families each year.
