Signed Arnold Palmer watercolor print to be auctioned at 25th Annual Francis “Ben” Bonafiglia Happin

The Francis “Ben” Bonafiglia Happiness House Foundation Golf Tournament, proudly presented by the Bonafiglia family, will be held on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011 at Seneca Falls Country Club in Seneca Falls, NY. Registration and a continental breakfast will begin at 8:30 am. The honorary chair for this year’s tournament is Thomas [Tom] Vasile. Tom and his brother Sam Vasile are co-owners of Finger Lakes Bottling Co., Inc. and have played in Happiness House’s golf tournament for the past 25 years. Finger Lakes Bottling Co., Inc. has been the annual Founding and Major Sponsor of this event for quite some time.

Vasile’s passion in life is, of course, his family and grandchildren. Tom lives for Syracuse football and basketball and he is also a Mets fan, and doesn’t seem to know why. Tom states: “It is an honor to be Chairman and sponsor of the Happiness House Golf Tournament. Sam and I are both very proud to be one of the original sponsors of this event. The Happiness House staff are special people and they make sponsoring this event a joy, but the most important end result is what they do for the children, adults, and families in the community who will receive programs and services through their dedicated efforts.

The $110 fee per golfer includes: 18 holes of golf, cart(s) included, special gifts for golfers from Happiness House and the Bonafiglia family, continental breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Golfers will also be eligible to participate in raffle prize drawings including: a two night stay in Toronto, courtesy of the Finger Lakes Radio Group/WNYR and K101.7; Four Golf Passes, courtesy of Geneva Country Club; Golf Lesson Series, courtesy of The Golf Farm Teaching Center, Ray Ziats, P.G.A., a fire pit, courtesy of Lowe’s Waterloo…plus, a signed Arnold Palmer watercolor print will be auctioned at dinner.

Golfers will be offered a chance to win a car, courtesy of D’Amico Chrysler Dodge Jeep, at the 7th hole. Overall Tournament prizes will be offered for the low net team, low gross team, flight winners, longest and straightest drive (men’s and women’s), putting contest and closest to the pin (men’s and women’s).
